AASANDHA SCHEME - OVERSEAS TREATMENT

Overseas Treatments

Aasandha scheme provides coverage for overseas treatment when required services are not available in the Maldives. Patients are referred to empaneled hospitals in India and Sri Lanka. Referral for overseas treatments are approved by Aasandha Medical Team.

Referrals to hospitals in Bangkok or the UAE are subject to additional criteria beyond the standard overseas referral process. These referrals are only considered when the required treatment is not available at empaneled hospitals in India or Sri Lanka. 

Application for Overseas Treatments

To seek medical treatment abroad under the "Husnuvaa Aasandha" scheme, the required documents must be completed and submitted to the Aasandha Portal, Front Office, Regional Counters and via email. A response will be provided within a maximum of 24 hours from the time the completed application form and necessary documents are accepted by the office.
